M&S have lost out on the christmas food boom with sales up a minimal 3.6 percent. This bad news for M&S who have until recently come back from a big decline. They need to get a bigger chunk of the market because they seem to potential customers as a posh supermarket chain and they will loose out on the large market that super companies like Tesco and Sainsburys take advantage off.
Their clothes sells have soared by 9.2 percent and this is probably due to the fact that they seem to be posher and higher quality.
